The Patriotic Poll has been established (September 2003) with cross-party representational support, to coordinate public opinion and prevent progress of the proposed EU Constitution. This treaty is no mere 'tidying up operation', but will have the effect of cancelling all previous agreements and rolling all signatories into the United States of Europe.

This initiative is not asking you to join or subscribe to yet another pressure group or political party. Get your MP, irrespective of party, on notice to accept the will of Great Britain expressed in a simple Referendum. Following that the government - and the nation - needs to make plans for the contingency of the UK leaving the EU, not as a result of a 'big bang' occasioned by a conscious decision to leave, but as part of a gradual process of realignment. We need credible and realistic alternative structures and arrangements to replace the EU in it's present format, ready to be put into action as the need arises.

1. Immediately register your vote on the voteometer on page 4 of this site. WE ALL NEED YOUR SUPPORT. This is anonymous, but will concur with the overwhelming majority of British Patriots.

2. Encourage others to do so by passing on this message and site address via your computer address books or other means of communication. DON'T BREAK THE CHAIN!

3. Get deeper into promoting the PATRIOTIC POLL SNOWBALL.

(a) Spread the word by encouraging others in your own constituency to seriously canvass wards and even parishes on an organised basis - referring them to the site at all times, the Voteometer needs their vote!

(b) Apart from Joe Public, Trade Unions, professional societies and political parties, canvass groups of which you may already be a member, or through responsible contacts. These include the institute of Directors, the CBI, Federation of Small Businesses, Armed Forces, Countryside/Farming societies and pressure groups including the NFU. Several of these are dead 'wet', coming out with such statements as 'we're non-political' etc! The plain truth is that joining the EU in full on the proposed basis will blow them and all members out of the water for good!

(c) Keep everything simple and to the point. Oil the wheels with local press and other media coverage.
